If you’ve been living with chronic stress, ongoing pain, fatigue, or a sense of disconnection from your body, it’s not because you’re broken or doing something wrong. It’s because your nervous system has spent years responding to responsibility, change, and survival demands, often without enough support.
Root to Rise is a body-based, integrative journey for women in midlife who are ready to move out of a constant state of alert and into greater steadiness, ease, and connection, without reliving the past or pushing themselves to heal faster than their bodies are ready for.
This work is grounded in nervous system regulation, somatic movement, yoga, and supportive nourishment.
This is a body-led, and nervous system led program focused on regulation, relief, and reconnection.
A 3-Month Somatic & Nervous System Healing Journey for Midlife Women
MONTH ONE: Root – Stabilize & Regulate
Goal: Help the nervous system feel safer and less reactive.
Focus areas:

Understanding stress responses (without trauma processing)

Gentle somatic practices to lower baseline activation

Establishing simple daily regulation rhythms

Supporting sleep, energy, and pain awareness

Learning how to notice signals without urgency
MONTH TWO: Release – Ease Tension & Restore Trust
Goal: Support the body in releasing chronic tension and protective holding.
Focus areas:

Clinical somatic movements for pain and stiffness
-
Gentle strength and mobility (capacity, not performance)

Supporting the nervous system during hormonal shifts

Reconnecting with bodily cues like hunger, fatigue, and rest

Learning when to move, when to pause, when to support
MONTH THREE: Rise – Integrate & Build Capacity
Goal: Help the nervous system sustain regulation in real life.
Focus areas:

Applying regulation tools to daily stress and caregiving

Creating routines that support rather than deplete
-
Boundaries as nervous system protection (not confrontation)

Integration practices for long-term support

Preparing for life after the container
3-Month Program Includes

Weekly 60-Minute Private Sessions
Grounded, body-based sessions focused on nervous system regulation, somatic movement, and practical support for easing stress and pain. These sessions are paced, structured, and designed to help your body settle — not to process or relive the past.

Optional journaling prompts and body-based reflections to help you notice patterns, build awareness, and integrate what your body is learning — without emotional excavation or “homework” pressure.

Gentle somatic and regulation practices to explore between sessions, offered as support rather than tasks to complete. The focus is consistency and listening to your body, not getting it “right.”

Meet Dena
I am a certified Integrative Health Coach and Somatic Trauma- Informed Coach.
My path to this work has been shaped by lived experience, both in my body and in my life. Growing up with emotionally unavailable parents taught my nervous system to stay on high alert, even when nothing looked “wrong” from the outside. For years, I carried that stress quietly, until my body began to speak through pain, inflammation, and exhaustion.
As a caregiver to an aging parent, a spouse, and neurodivergent children, and while navigating my own autoimmune conditions, my body spent a long time in survival mode. Over time, that constant responsibility and vigilance took a toll, leaving me disconnected from my body and unsure how to truly rest or reset.
Through practices like yoga, somatic movement, meditation, and nervous-system-informed nourishment, I learned how to work with my body instead of against it. Rather than pushing for answers or revisiting the past, I focused on creating safety, steadiness, and support in my nervous system, and my body slowly responded.
The work I offer now is grounded, body-based, and shaped by both training and experience. I support women in midlife who are navigating chronic stress, pain, fatigue, and life transitions, helping them reconnect with their bodies and restore regulation in a way that feels sustainable and respectful.
This isn’t about fixing yourself, or bringing up shame by reliving old stories. It’s about learning how to support your body in the season you’re in now so daily life feels more manageable, connected, and steady.
